Hamburg calling

Klar, Hamburg ist hier oben im Norden allen ein Begriff – doch was, wenn diese Großstadt nicht bekannt ist: In der 7b erhielten unsere Schülerinnen und Schüler den Auftrag, einen Persuasive Text für eine Schülergruppe aus Schottland zu verfassen, um Interesse zu wecken. Das macht auf jeden Fall Lust auf einen Hamburg-Besuch – egal, ob bereits bekannt oder nicht:

Hamburg – an adventure for everyone

Have you, I said YOU, ever visited Hamburg? It’s the second-largest city in Germany and I can guarantee you the atmosphere is the most unique one you’ve ever enjoyed. Especially at St. Pauli’s Reeperbahn and all the other entertainment there.

I clearly recommend visiting the Speicherstadt and the Kontorhausviertel, too because both of them are UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2015.

If there is any time left, you have to go to the absolutely amazing river Alster and go canoeing.

For dinner my recommendation for you are the most outstanding Fish buns (we call them Fischbrötchen) at Brücke 10. From there you can see the Elbphilharmonie, the most unique concert house in the world.

At the next day I highly suggest that you get some Franzbrötchen (it’s a dessert pastry) for breakfast.

Afterwards you can visit as many of the 60 museums as you like. I think the Miniatur Wunderland, the world’s largest model railway, and the Chocoversum, the chocolate museum in Hamburg, are the most outstanding ones. But don’t eat too much chocolate or you will fall over and that’s bad because you have to have some food at one of many absolutely delicious restaurants of all nationalities.
